slipstreaming my anachronistic surreal consciousness - sharing with you my multiple epiphanies that were spawned while sitting on my porcelain throne (these are the ones I didn't flush) "don't believe everything you think…"

vegetarianism

not for me. I'm a proud omnivore (and verbivore). I don't think it's natural to pop-in 'dietary supplements' as a meat-alternative source of nutrition. I don't think that's part of the natural evolutionary plan. What's the smartest natural herbivore species?

Agnosticism

here are my favorite quotes about Agnosticism:

“Agnosticism… a method, the essence of which lies in the rigorous application of a single principle… Positively the principle may be expressed: In matters of the intellect, follow your reason as far as it will take you, without regard to any other consideration. And negatively: In matters of the intellect, do not pretend that conclusions are certain which are not demonstrated or demonstrable. …if a man keep whole and undefiled, he shall not be ashamed to look the universe in the face, whatever the future may have in store for him.”
Thomas Henry Huxley(1825-1895)
Science and Christian Tradition (1893)

“The skeptic does not mean him who doubts, but him who investigates or researches, as opposed to him who asserts and thinks that he has found.”
Miguel de Unamuno (1864-1936)
Spanish writer, philosopher

“I am an agnostic; I do not pretend to know what many ignorant men are sure of.”
Clarence Darrow (1857-1938)
American lawyer, writer

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blind faith.”
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

Here's an Agnostic prayer:
“O Lord, if there is a Lord, save my soul, if I have a soul.”
Joseph Ernest Renan (1823-1892)
French writer, critic, scholar

predestination

that's the optimistic word for 'futile'. Excuse me now, while I fart about the whole idea. (it sounds more like a word that the travel industry should use more often)

photogenetic therapy

I just created that phrase. So, try to use it often and hopefully it will end-up in next year's Webster's Dictionary; then I can say, "I've finally made a contribution to this world!"
(my fumbling to be a neoterist)

bard

since I have no musical talents whatsoever {I can’t play any instruments & I definitely can’t sing (ask anyone’s who’s heard me try and see if they can keep a straight face, which is why I sing aloud alone in my car)}, this is my karmic revenge, I bring you words without melody

reincarnation

I was told by several "mystics" that I have an 'ancient soul'. I refuse to believe that I've got a 'used soul'. I'd like to think that my soul is original. And, it even bothers me more to think that my soul's been recycled over a century or even over a millennium in this planet. It's like a cruel cosmic joke being repeatedly rejected in the afterlife (neither Heaven nor Hell will take me), so I'm sent back to live another life.
(I'm an afterlife reject.)

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Know anyone who got it from playing too many video games? I don't. If you do, you need to make better friends.

motor skill game

click and find out what happens
Hi

(apparently, the animation only works with IE; so, I added something more annoying for Netscape users)

baby Hummer

if the Hummers had babies, it would be this (buy me 1 & I'll be your friend for 1 yr.; buy me a Hummer, I'll be your friend for 5 yrs.; I want it in Ocean Blue Metallic or Sunset Orange Metallic)

reverie 2

I can't recall, if I dreamt last night. If dreams make us forget, did my own dream forget itself? Or, does this mean I didn't forget anything?

Club Dredd

the place I used to go to whenever The Dredd Poet Society were having a session. I was the Punk Poet who used to make fun about local stuff. I made 1 good friend, Leigh, who informed me of the blog & phlog sites; so blame her for this.

Dunkin Donuts

it doesn't make sense, but they make the best coffee! I go to the Port Jeff branch for breakfast. I order the #2 combo which is a Croissant Egg Ham Cheese Sandwich & a Great One Coffee with Cream. It's how I start my day.

Perugina Baci

not only is it my favorite chocolate candy it's also got little love notes wrapped in each of them. It's so good, I consider it a guilt-free pleasure. This is what to get me to temporarily cheer me up, which lasts till I've devoured it all in 1 seating. I get to play "Cookie Monster" (my favorite Sesame Street puppet) and with his voice, I say, "Baci! Baci! Baci! Baci!" As I consume it all! "Me want Baci!" The most memorable love note I got from it was "Faith is an oasis in the heart that will never be reached by the caravan of thought." And, I thought, "Damned whoever came up with that!" Because I was speechless without a repartee to it. All I could do was eat more of it.

fried pork rinds

has 0% carbs! So it's better than potato chips & other high-carb snacks.

reverie

I once told a few friends that I was going to keep a journal about my dreams. That was over a decade ago. I actually had only 1 friend, Leigh, who recalled me saying that and I've forgotten about it. So, here goes my 1st entry. This was last twilight's... a giant colorful parrot attacked me and bit one of my right fingers (I'm not sure which one) while I was being hugged by a fuzzy warm monkey (this is strange because my dreams are usually in pastel diffusion). I once read that whenever we dream, we are actually forgetting something. So, it's not good to dream.

back-up

Last night my blog went down. I couldn’t figure out what went wrong. Apparently, when my host server went down, my template disappeared! It’s a known bug of theirs. Here’s part of what they wrote back to me: “Hi there, I'm afraid your blog's template has disappeared. This is a bug that we are currently in the process of fixing, and we will let you know when it is resolved. We may even be able to recover lost custom templates at that time... We apologize for this loss of data and we will try to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.”  It was such a royal bitch to customize it the 1st time and now I had to do it all over again, this time I decided to understand it more. I think it even looks better now. The lesson learned: back-up my template.

paperless future

It's supposed to be the trend of advancing digital cultures. Bookstores & Libraries will change. No physical currencies, paperwork, books, etc. However, as long as there’s no digital alternative to wiping our ass, toilet paper’s here to stay; thus, we will never be “paperless”.

twisted humor

I wish I was as funny as this guy: Crappy art #1 & Crappy art #2

my opinion

If you've got an interesting topic and want my twisted opinion; e-mail me about it. And, yes, my opinion will always be better than yours, because I said so. It's all about me!

astrology & horoscope

Does it apply to those confined in asylums? Including myself, I know of other people who share the same birthdates; yet they have more differences than similarities. This got circulated years ago, but it's still a fun read.

movies

the genres I like: animé, cartoon, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, & unrealistic-martial-arts
my top 3 favorite movies: Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, Hudson Hawk, & The Lord Of The Rings

TV

the genres I like: animé, cartoon, claymation, comedy, fantasy, puppetry, sci-fi, & supermarionation/supermacromation
the channels I like: Cartoon Network & Sci-Fi Channel

VH1

it's such a blast watching I Love The 70s & I Love The 80s

Feng Shui

My short take on it: it's a fire hazard. Back then, when the walls on Chinese houses were made of paper (because most of their stones were used for their Great Wall), it was okay. If there was a fire, all you had to do was run through your paper wall. Now, I don't know anyone who can run through solid walls, unless you're a ghost. If Christianity, Islam, & Judaism adopt Feng Shui, would it mean major renovations on their churches, mosques, synagogues, & temples? And, what has Feng Shui done for China? So many countries flourished without being influenced by that Chinese geomancy.

please test sending me an e-mail

I decided to add an e-mail link. Please click "My e-mail", if there's a browser or e-mail program compatibility problem, let me know, send me e-mail manually. Thanks.
{Update: I've now changed it from "My e-mail" to "supplicate me"}

the afterlife

Why is it that people who believe in Heaven or something similar to it aren't too eager about going there? Could it be because they're all latent agnostics? Or are they worried about going to Hell? Those who believe in an afterlife should "carpe caelum" (not sure, if my Latin is right)

P2P File Sharing

I don't have any P2P File Sharing on my computer. I've never done it. I have nothing against it. If you're into it, consider ES5. It sounds safe & promising.

Realism

I'm a Realist who appreciates Dadaism & Surrealism (most likely because my reality isn't what I hoped for; I wish I was a mutant with supernatural powers and justify wearing spandex costumes)

killing jars

my favorite herbivorous bugs are fireflies and all similar bugs that glow in the dark; I used to collect them into my killing jars and watch them light up at night; and when they were weak & dying I would shake the jar up to see their final glow; the nice thing about my backyard is that every summer, the swarm of fireflies look like fireworks for Liliputians

blind ghosts

If a person who was born blind or mute or with whatever physical disability; will their ghost be the same? I've been curious about blind ghosts. It would really suck, if they remained blind because now they're intangible; and, so they’ll be completely lost, because they’ll just be walking or floating through things aimlessly not knowing where they are.

psychics

psychics (like John Edward) are charlatans and watching them is like watching a game show but the game they're playing and being paid for is similar to charade; kudos to them for making money from it

Donnie Darko

My 1st Movie Review (well, it just had to be something that wasn't current): Donnie Darko has got to be one of my favorite cult movies. (I saw it last year, without knowing anything about it.) It's got good music (80's Alternative) and it's well written & directed. Just in case you haven't watched it, I'm not saying more about it; except that it's worth watching, if you're into Cult, Dark-Comedy, & Sci-Fi genres. Even they're official website is cool! Watch it here, at Apple Trailers - Donnie Darko, if you've got QuickTime.

alien abduction

I don’t get it. Aliens who are supposedly of higher intelligence with superior technology go to Earth to abduct people and do anal probes. What’s the deal on that? If their trying to figure out how intelligent humans are, why probe the ass? Then again, it seems like the ones being abducted have their brains down there. Hence the expression, “full of shit”.

ass wipes

This is my 1st Public Service Announcement: the best ass wipe is Kleenex® Cottonelle Fresh® Folded Wipes it's great for those who are prone to hemorrhoids. I'm not going back to dry toilet paper. It's like a portable bidet.

Jerry Springer's Kids

There should be a Jerry Springer Telethon similar to Jerry Lewis' Muscular Dystrophy Association except it would be for "Mental" Dystrophy. It's sad to know how many people are plagued with that disease.

Port Jeff Taco Bell

I've been going to Port Jeff Taco Bell, since April, for lunch & dinner & all I order is the Steak Quesadilla & it's helped me lose weight. I should be the "Jared" of Taco Bell

Thunderbirds

I got my
Complete Thunderbirds DVD Megaset

last week and now to find the time to watch it.

my precious

someone buy me
The One Ring™ - Solid Gold Edition

and I'll be nice to you
my ring size is 11

this & my phlog

it's almost like a fun way of developing a split personality

music

the genres that I'm currently into are: ambient, breakbeat lounge, chillout, downbeat/downtempo, dreampop, electronica, ethereal, trip-hop & other Ridilin alternative genres
my current favorite song: "Love Me" by Love And Rockets
(the opening guitar riff sets the tone)

ideal vacation

traveling anywhere between 70°F-90°F & won't give me any culture-shock or shell-shock

this summer

It's been the best weather since I moved here around 3 yrs. ago. Summer's almost over, yet it hardly hit 90°F! My armpits are grateful because they haven't been stressed (except for that vacation in Florida). And, it's been raining frequently that I didn’t have to use the sprinklers as often as the previous summers.

people I'll miss

There are people who I'll miss... If only they just leave.

recalling 3 yrs. old brain cells

I had to try to recall my stagnant memory about web designing, since I haven't done any in over 3 yrs. It took me a while; but, I've finally customized my blog & phlog sites.

Dilbert & Censorship

Here's what's sort of going to set the tone... Dilbert 8-5-3

& "The social complexities of the F-word" & The Miranda Rights

This is my 1st blog and I have nothing profound to say.

I just lost my blogging virginity! Was it good for you?
