last night

was so much fun!

It started on the train ride to The City.
I guess I caught the train where almost everyone was wearing their Halloween costume. I was in a quasi-military attire.

The 30th Annual New York's Village Halloween Parade was more fun than the 2 previous years! The combination of both the weather & the fact that it was the 30th made it very fun! There were just too many to interesting costumes to mention. I saw Go Go Yubari w/ her ball & chain, Johnny Mo & a handful of The Crazy 88 from Kill Bill. I practically keeled over with laughter right before they walked past me.

I went to one of the after-parties and it was fun! There was a 4 category contest, Best: Female, Male, Group, & Most Tragic.
Best Female went to "Una Puta at 60" who's outfit was just hysterical. Those fake sagging boobs and her attitude kept the crowd roaring in laughter.
Best Male went to "The Candyman" who must've spent hours making his costume because it was a chain mail of candies, including his crown! His inspiration for the costume was to be edible.
Best Group went to The Powerpuff Girls even though Blossom wasn't with them.
Most Tragic went to Mystique, who looked just like the movie version.
They all won $100.

Tonight, I'm hoping will be just as fun or better. I'm wearing my Fred Flinstone t-shirt. The prize is $1000 & I'm hoping that there's no category because the contest sort of dragged by the time it got to "Most Tragic".
